A Fortune to Claim is now available for everyone to read. This book truly consumed my time with editing, rewriting, and perfecting each scene. I reached a point where I had to simply call it done, or it might never have been released.

With this achievement, I’ve entered the phase I find most challenging: marketing. I take solace in knowing that many writers share this struggle. I know how great my book is; the challenge lies in sharing that conviction with others. It’s a journey that is oftentimes confusing and time consuming. (The phrase screaming into the void comes to mind.) I sincerely appreciate your patience with my frequent “hey, check out my book” posts on social media.

One book down… now it’s time for the next book. I’m working on another installment in the Through the Mist series. Although I feel hesitant about writing this one because it will contain some difficult scenes, what happens is essential for the story.

Apologies in advance for the shift in tone you’ll find if you follow my Facebook posts. The speech patterns are completely different in the 1800s than they are now. When I am working on books set in that time, my own speech pattern becomes more formal.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I have loads of ideas for more stories. If you enjoy my writing, I hope you’ll look forward to what’s next. If my work isn’t your preference, that’s perfectly fine!

As always…I hope everyone continues to pursue their passions. That’s what I intend to do.
